Tips to Make Unicorn Party Food Idea
- Remove all un-popped kernels, as these are extremely unpleasant to find in a bite.
- The popcorn can be warm or cooled off before the candy is added.
- Don’t get the chocolate too hot because it can shrink the popcorn. Do a small test before dumping it all on there.
- If you decide not to use candy melts but want to use regular chocolate, keep in mind that it’s will be a little more oily and can take longer to set.
- For maximum squeals, be generous with the sprinkles. Sprinkles maximize magic – it’s a scientific fact. Also, add any candy that matches your theme.
- Note: to color and flavor the popcorn with Skittles, see our Skittles Popcorn recipe in our mermaid popcorn write up.
