This unicorn planter is so simple and easy to make!
Materials
- 4” Terra cotta pot
- Gold Craft foam
- White paint
- Black paint marker
- Puffy paints
Tools
- Paintbrush
- Hot glue gun/gluesticks
Instructions
- Paint your terra cotta pot with a light coat of white paint on the outside, paint the inside about halfway down so that only the clean white is showing above the dirt, allow to dry.
- Paint with 1-2 more coats of paint until you have a nice solid painted pot, dry completely.
- Next, use a black paint pen to give her some pretty and playful lashes.
- Cut a 3” horn shape from the gold craft foam and secure to the front of the pot with hot glue.
- Finally, add colorful lines of puffy paint strands to the front section of your pot to create a mane.
- Add soil, rocks to top it off and a pretty succulent, ivy, or other small plant. If you don’t have a green thumb you can add a faux plant to give your space some greenery without worrying about watering it.
