Star Wars Paper Roll Crafts
As part of a Star Wars craft series for the “May the Fourth Be With You,” I created a few characters kids of all ages could make pretty quickly. Using pre-made, downloadable templates, here are a few of the characters we’ve made so far.

Tips to Make Toilet Paper Roll Crafts
- If your little loves Chewbacca, Princess Leia and other Star Wars characters, this Han Solo craft is just what you need to bring the whole team together.
- This same template can be used for Luke Skywalker (change the hair to yellow and use all neutrals for his clothing).
- Customize Han Solo’s eyes and belt accessories to add a little extra to the character. Give him a blaster and pouch, let him have a go at a lightsaber… the sky is the limit.
- If you’re staying true to form, you could even create a solid dark brown version of Han Solo. That way you have a version of him trapped in carbonite!
- Create a scene using a cardboard box to keep the imaginative play going. Want a Tatooine world scape? A couple of suns or a few moons and you’re done.
- You can make a scene for the inside of the Death Star with a bit of gray construction paper or paint covering the inside of a box, too. Poke holes and add in some Christmas lights for a really fancy upgrade.

Instructions
- Select a craft paper for the skin (head pattern); also select brown, blue, and cream colored craft papers. Trace the Han Solo paper craft patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out nicely.
- Cut a slit along the yellow line of the hair pattern.
- Insert the top side of the head through the slit of the hair from the bottom side. Apply glue to fix the position of the head and hair.
- Grab the rectangle pattern and wrap it around the toilet paper roll from any one side. Also, glue the clothes patterns on the roll.
- I used a black marker to trace a line along the blue part for the legs.
- Attach the head on the top side of the roll to complete the Han Solo toilet paper roll craft.
