Tips to Make This Toilet Paper Roll Kids Craft
- Make sure to add Baby Yoda to the mix for a more interesting play time. Plus how cute is Baby Yoda? The Mandalorian wasn’t even super cool until, you know, baby with big-eyes.
- Let’s not forget to get creative with making the backdrop. Make buildings, trees and more to make a full scene. Give the kid a whole bunch of craft paper to pull together a fun cantina or…I don’t know?!
- Let Star Wars take over your whole house for a day and do a marathon of the series–make “Star Wars food” or just generally play Star Wars together. Helps build imagination and play for young children, so why not?!
How Do I Make this Mandalorian Paper Craft?
I’m so glad you asked. Below is our written tutorial.
Mandalorian Paper Craft
Star Wars Lovers rejoice for this Mandalorian Paper Craft based off the Disney+ show. Easy to make and quick to play with.
Materials
- Toilet paper roll
- Colored craft papers
- Templates (2, one with color, one black and white for coloring):
Tools
- Scissors
- Craft glue
- Sharpie or marker
- Pencil
Instructions
- Select colored craft papers for the Mandalorian doll patterns. Trace the patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out nicely. I’m using 2 different shades of brown, black and grey colored papers. Trace the strips on black paper, the helmet on grey paper, the big rectangle on a brown paper and the rest of the patterns on a different shade of brown paper.
- Use a marker to trace and fill the patterns on the helmet.
- Attach the small brown paper cutouts on the big brown rectangle. Place a black strip diagonally over the middle part of the big rectangle by overlapping the small brown patterns.
- Grab an empty toilet paper roll and cover the roll with the rectangle paper.
- Attach the head of the Mandalorian paper doll on the top side of the roll to complete the craft; make sure to place the helmet right above the small brown patterns attached to the rectangle paper.
