Free Acrylic Drink Sticks Laser Files (Love Theme)

Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I love working with acrylic and designing quick projects we can make to use or sell. I had a request for some “love themed” stir sticks and, after I validated she wanted it G-rated (we all know that one girl), I set to work!

For this project, you will only need cast acrylic and a laser, though I do recommend cleaning these immediately after processing with dish soap and hot water. This project can be completed on a diode or CO2 laser, however, diodes will have some restrictions to color. I’m using:

How to Make Valentine’s Day Acrylic Drink Stirrers

First, download the free SVG bundle with all 10 designs. You have each of the 5 designs repeated for both high and low ball glasses, making sure you have what you need without any alterations needed.

Open the XCS file (if using an xTool laser) or bring the SVG into your laser software. Set all pieces to cut and decide which shapes and sizes you’ll be cutting. To validate size, the LOVE stir sticks should measure the following (though you can change them):

  • high ball 8.6 inches
  • low ball 5.6 inches

Load the acrylic into the bed of the laser and secure. Auto-measure the acrylic and line up the designs over your material.

Set parameters based on your testing (mine for the xTool P2 55 watt were 85/12/1).

Process the cut(s) and repeat for each color of acrylic.

Clean all pieces and package up for sale or pop them into your favorite beverage!
