Why This Dessert Recipe is Worth A Try
It comes together so easily and is perfect for a busy family. You can have them done in under an hour and that includes the cooling time.
I’m using a boxed cake mix for this, however, you can start with my popular homemade chocolate cupcake recipe. You’ll want to add half-sized candy bar to the middle.
If you do a lot of baking for the various get-togethers for your family, this is a great recipe to start rotating through your events. This is a recipe that no one has probably seen before, so it will be quite refreshing to see something different on the dessert table.
Tips For Making 100 Grand Cupcakes
- If you want the perfect batter, be careful not to over mix.
- For the best garnish, cut the fun-sized 100 Grand candy bars into 1/4″ pieces. This makes them small enough to sprinkle onto the frosting but big enough to give you plenty of flavor.
- To avoid greasy cupcakes from a boxed mix, use greaseproof liners, add more than one into each tin, or put some rice into the bottom of the cavity (note: this works about 50% of the time).
- I used a plastic squeeze bottle to drizzle our caramel but you can also use a piping bag with a tip with a small hole or a zip top bag with a small hole cut in the corner.
