Watermelon Flower Pot
This Watermelon Flower Pot is the perfect way to create beautiful art at home. It's also a great terra cotta pot craft that you can replicate in so many fun ways!
Materials
- Terra cotta pot
- Green craft paint
- Pink craft paint
- Black marker
- White paint marker
Tools
- Foam brush
- Small paint brush
Instructions
- Add the different colors of green paint to the plate. You'll want a couple of options.
- Take and cover the lip of the pot with a green color. Cover the very top and let dry and then add a second coat.
- Dab the tip of the brush into the other greens and dab off the excess. Make vertical lines on the top base coat to make the watermelon pattern.
- Repeat with the colors of green.
- After the top has dried, paint the lower section with pink paint. Let dry and paint again if needed.
- Apple a small green line where the green and pink areas meet. Make little seeds with the black marker.
- Add a coat of craft sealant, if desired, and allow it to dry completely before planting your plants and displaying!
