Fall Mickey Mouse Wreath
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, our family is really missing Disney. Fall is tons of fun at the parks and the iconic pumpkin Mickey is so welcoming. I can even remember it being the first picture I took on our last trip.
This year, we aren’t heading to the parks so so that means you’re bound to find something Mickey Mouse-related in our house. This autumn Mickey Mouse wreath is one of my favorite crafts to hang up and show off! Let’s get started.

Tips for Making this Dollar Tree Wreath
- Everything needed to make this cute fall wreath can be found at the Dollar Tree! Saving money on seasonal crafts is always a priority.
- You need about 30 minutes of time to create this front door Mickey Mouse wreath. It’s quicker than trying to pick one out at the store.
- Joann’s and other craft stores will have the pumpkins on a pick or clip-on pumpkins in their seasonal floral – check the hanging items AND the little bins.
- If your yard is covered in them like mine is, this would look really neat with some changing-color oak leaves picked up from the yard. Mount them while still pliable and you’ll have a really neat dried look by the time you take this fall wreath down.

Dollar Store Fall Mickey Mouse Wreath
This cute fall wreath is perfect for Mickey Mouse fans and is so easy to come together. Head to the Dollar Tree and grab your supplies - you can also pick them up at any craft store.
Materials
- Mickey Wreath Template Here
- Foam Pumpkin (3 inches tall)
- 2 Mini Foam Pumpkin Clips
- Orange Paint (light, medium, dark colors)
- Silk Leaves and Flower Stems in fall colors
- 6 inch Wooden Wreath
Tools
- Permanent Black Marker – Dollar Store
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Pencil
- Paintbrush
Instructions
- Remove labels from pumpkins. If you buy ones that are shiny, rough them up a bit with some sandpaper so that paint and glue adhere better.
- Paint the large and two mini pumpkins with orange (or medium orange) paint. Let them dry and then add a second coat if you need to. Put a few strokes of orange and dark orange to add some depth.
- Mark on the large pumpkin where the mini pumpkins should go as ears. Use your thumb or a pen to press down on the areas on the large pumpkin to make a bit of an indention. Add the ears on with the glue gun.
- Cut the leaves and flowers from the stem bases and glue the leaves around the wooden wreath.
- Print and cut out the Mickey Mouse wreath template. Turn it over and scribble the back of the image with a pencil and then put it on top of the larger pumpkin and trace the pattern of the face with an ink pen. Use a marker to fill in the facial features on the pumpkin.
- Add the flowers around the wreath in odd numbers and glue them on. Make sure that you separate the larger flower petals and try and tuck them in between the leaves. Glue the Mickey Mouse pumpkin set into the middle of the wreath and hang.
