- Decorate cupcakes up to one day in advance and store in an air-tight container. If using a standard buttercream or store bought frosting, do not put frosted cupcakes in the refrigerator.
- Chocolate bunnies come in so many sizes – you’re looking for no larger than 3 inches total but the one inch will work just fine.

How to Easter Candy Cupcakes
Looking forward to a fun treat for Easter? Set up a decorating station with a few simple supplies and get started making these adorable chocolate bunny cupcakes.
First, make a batch of my Lazy Girl’s Easy Vanilla Cupcake Recipe or purchase pre-made cupcakes.
Make a batch of my easy buttercream frosting and tint it green or buy a tub of frosting and do the same. Use a star tip or a grass tip to cover the top of each cupcake.
Cut off the base (about 1 inch) of the chocolate bunny if you’re using the three inch bunny candies. If you’re using the smaller bunny chocolates, you don’t have to cut them.
Cut a small slit into the frosted cupcake and press the bunny into the cupcake. Add eggs, jelly beans, sprinkles, or other Easter candies to the top.
