Birthday Cake Marshmallows
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, we can’t stop coming up with super fun party treat ideas. There’s this nagging voice (named ‘my kid’) that insists that I find something new and fun to try every few days. For the birthday party that’s months away. It’s endearing–and if I keep telling myself that, maybe it’ll eventually be true. In any case, we made these awesomely easy marshmallow pops for a “dry run” of party treats. And they are ah-mazing.

Tips to Make Funfetti Marshmallows
- Do not overheat your chocolate. If you do, it runs the risk of getting lumpy and losing it’s ability to coat the marshmallows. If this happens, you can add a teaspoon of vegetable oil into the chocolate and stir.
- Make these adorable birthday cake marshmallow pops your very own unique creation by using different sprinkles. Keep in mind that there are 9 million awesome options. Some of my favorite are:
- Gold Star Sprinkles for a team win!
- Mickey Sprinkles for a Mouse-in-the-House party.
- Dinosaur Sprinkles with the green and rawr and the stomp, stomp, stomp!
- Superhero Sprinkles in the colors of your favorite Marvel or DC heroes and heroines.
- Blue Ombre Sprinkles for a fun boy-o party!
- Mermaid Sprinkles for an under the sea party.
- Galaxy Sprinkles for the most amazing out of this world party!
