We made these adorable and easy unicorn cookies for a little impromptu unicorn party the other day and just couldn’t be more pleased! Just a few mintues and these no-bake cookies were on the table and ready for snacking.

Like, if the kiddo even floats the idea that there might be a reason in the near future fur unicorn festivities, well, it’s happening, because that’s literally my favorite partying ever. And, of course, having unicorn treats is a requirement.

Tips to Make Unicorn Party Food
- First, the obvious thing you need NEED is these adorable unicorn icing decorations. You have to–these are barely even unicorn cookies without these adorable toppers, seriously.
- The second cool thing that you need is the colorburst candy melts. They’re SO COOL–I had no idea they were even a thing until I saw them in the store. I mean, there’s nothing saying you can’t do blue or pink or white candy melts on the bottom–but those little bursts of color are so cute!
- Something else to remember is that, when you’re making these easy unicorn candy cookies, you don’t have to wait until the bottom layer of candy melts is set before you can move on to doing the top layers of candy melts–and then you don’t have to wait for those drizzles to harden before putting on the icing. This is a super-quick assemble and that’s just awesome!

Unicorn Cookies
Making these unicorn cookies for a unicorn party is just about the easiest decision ever. They're so simple to make and the kids love them!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Wilton Colorburst Brights Candy Melts
- 24 Golden OREO Cookies
- 1 cup Wilton White Vanilla Candy Melts
- Sky Blue Gel Icing Color
- Pink Gel Icing
- 12 Wilton Pastel Unicorn Icing Decorations
Instructions
- Prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt the Colorburst candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring between each increment until the candy is melted.
- Place a tablespoon of the melted Colorburst candy onto the parchment paper in a mostly-round shape.
- Place an OREO into the center of the melted candy until the candy rises up the sides of the OREO.
- Repeat with 24 circles of candy topped with an OREO cookie.
- Melt 1/2 of the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring between each increment until the candy is melted.
- Add 3-4 drops of pink gel food coloring to the melted candy and stir until the color is consistent throughout.
- Drizzle pink candy over the tops of each of the OREO cookies.
- Melt remaining 1/2 of the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments in the microwave, stirring between each increment until the candy is melted.
- Add 3-4 drops of sky blue gel food coloring to the melted candy and stir until the color is consistent throughout.
- Drizzle blue candy over the tops of each of the OREO cookies.
- Place a small amount of blue or pink candy onto the back of a unicorn decoration and place the unicorn on the center of a candy-drizzled OREO cookie.
- Repeat placing a unicorn decoration on each of your OREOs.
- Allow the cookies to rest on the counter for 10-15 minutes to allow the candy to set and enjoy!
