Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I am working on using scraps for gift tags and holiday cards. Today, I found reindeer fabric, mini wood reindeer cutouts, and mini antlers and started working on some cute reindeer craft ideas.

But… that also had me thinking about some reindeer jokes I could use for the kids and sayings I could use for some cutting machine crafting. And that led me down a road to find some great facts and well, here we are. That Neil de Grasse Tyson one is the best!

Reindeer eyes actually change color with the seasons (gold in the summer, deep blue in the winter to help them see in the in the Arctic winter’s low light).
