Tips to Make Christmas tree bath bombs
- Let your Christmas tree bath bombs sit for at least 24 hours to dry. But if you live in a wetter climate area, you’ll need to leave them sitting for 48-72 hours.
- If the wet sand mixture doesn’t stick together when you mash a ball in your fist, then it needs a tad more water. If it feels a little too damp, don’t despair! Just let your Christmas tree shower fizzies sit in the mold for a little longer until they dry out.
- Keep your shower bombs in an airtight container until they’re about to be used. If you gift these shower bombs in a mason jar like these cute Christmas mason jars, your recipient will love it.

Materials
- 1 C. baking sodaÂ
- 1/2 C. citric acidÂ
- 1 tbsp. coconut oilÂ
- Green food coloring
- Spritz of water, as needed
Instructions
- Combine baking soda and citric acid in a large bowl.
- Add water small increments (you may even want to spray it with a spritzer) and combine. You want it slightly dense but not soaked through, kind of like wet sand.
- Add in several drops of green food coloring and use your hand to mix thoroughly.
- Spoon the bath bomb mixture into the Christmas Tree mold, filling each cavity about halfway then pack it in using your hands.
- Spoon the remaining mixture evenly into the cavities and pack it down until it's even on the tops.
- Allow the Christmas Tree bath bombs to rest in a cool/dry spot for 24 hours to allow them to set.
- Enjoy!
