Grinch Christmas Shower Bombs
These Grinch Christmas Shower Bombs are a great gift and are so easy to make for the big Grinch!
Materials
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup Epsom salts
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 teaspoon marshmallow oil (or your choice – see below for suggestions)
- green soap colorant
- Heart sprinkles, candies, or icing decorations (sugar will dissolve)
Tools
- 12 count silicone mold
- bowl
- whisk
Instructions
- Whisk together baking soda, Epsom salts, citric acid, and cornstarch in a medium-sized bowl.
- In a small bowl, add the coconut oil, marshmallow oil, water, and colorant. Stir.
- Add the oil mix to the dry mixture, one tablespoon at a time. Add the liquids slowly as to avoid activating the mix. Incorporate all of the wet into the dry until the consistency is such that you can squeeze it in your hand and it retains its shape. Add 1/2 teaspoon of water if the mix is too dry, incorporating fully until the consistency is reached.
- Add a heart sprinkle or candy to each mold before pressing in the shower bomb mixture on top. All the mix to dry in the molds overnight and then again on the counter so they can harden completely.
