Dollar Tree Farmhouse Bunny Silhouette Craft
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I have a little bit of an obsession with bunny butts and making a bunny butt craft with a whole row of little bunnies, well, it was inevitable. So cute, and with the added little plaid pastel pennant?! I can’t even.

The best part is that it’s a simple enough craft that it literally can take less than 15 minutes to make, not including the time it takes to squee at the bunny tails. So, grab your hot glue gun and let’s get started.

Tips to Make this Bunny Silhouette Cricut Craft
- Start by clicking here to get the bunny silhouette and pennant cut file set. Even if you don’t have a Cricut, but have another cutting machine, you can use the files. Or, even if you don’t have a cutting machine at all, you can print out the JPG in the set and cut out the shapes with scissors using the print as your template!
- If you haven’t had an occasion to work with chipboard on your Cricut before, you can get some 12Ă—12 sheets here that the Cricut Maker cuts nicely. I love using this material for the bunnies because it doesn’t even have to be painted to generally match the wood tones.
- I grabbed my little pallet that I used for the base from my local Dollar Tree. And the pom poms. If you don’t have a Dollar Tree nearby or you’d like to just make your pieces, you can create the same look with a couple popsicle sticks glued together. Very simple.
How Do I Make this Dollar Tree Farmhouse Bunny Silhouette Craft?
I’m so glad you asked. Below is our written tutorial.
Bunny Silhouette Cricut Craft
Super easy to make, this bunny silhouette Cricut craft is one of those Dollar Tree crafts that you can make in minutes!
Materials
- Bunny and Pennant Cut File Set
- Dollar Tree Mini Pallet
- 4 Pieces Craft Wood (Dollar Tree) cut to fit the sides of the pallet
- 1 Sheet Chipboard
- 4 Tiny Pink Sparkly Pom Poms (Dollar Tree)
- 1 Sheet Card Stock
- White Embroidery Thread
Tools
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue
- Cricut Maker
- Blue or Green Grip Mat
- Printer
Instructions
- Download the cut files then upload them into Design Space, and follow the prompts to "make it". Design Space will sort the designs into cut shapes for the bunnies and print-and-cut for the pennants.
- Select "continue" located at the bottom right of the screen, then, send the pennant design to the printer and print on the card stock paper.
- Place the printed card stock onto the cutting mat then load the mat into the cutting machine and adjust material setting to card stock and hit “go”. When the pennants are cut, set them aside.
- Place the chipboard sheet onto the cutting mat then load the mat into the cutting machine and adjust material setting to chipboard and hit “go”. When the bunnies are cut, set them aside.
- Assemble the base by hot gluing one of the pieces of craft wood perpendicular to each side of the pallet edges, allowing the hot glue to cool completely. The pallet should stand up on it's own after this assembly.
- Weed the excess chipboard material from the bunny silhouettes and discard. Then hot glue the bunny silhouettes in a row on the bottom edge of the inside of the pallet. Glue a pink pom pom to the bottom of each bunny butt.
- Weed the excess card stock paper from the pennant shapes and discard. Then hot glue the back of each of the pennants to the white embroidery thread side-by-side, leaving about 2 inches of thread on either end to secure the pennant to the base.
- Hot glue each end of the excess embroidery thread to the back of the pallet, pulling the thread semi-snug so that it only drapes a little in the front of the pallet. Then place your bunny silhouette tiered tray filler in your tiered tray and display!
