Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, we are kind of homebodies. I mean, I go out plenty, but, because I go out plenty, I kind of feel like my home is the fortress of solitude and I get to rest there without being disturbed. But lately, there’s been a rash of–gasp–people showing up at my door unannounced. I mean, sure, they’re just soliciting (of course, kid, I want your school fundraiser cookies), trying to get me to vote for them or trying to get me to do a free home efficiency survey (thanks, electric co-op for looking out for me).
