This Jungle Cruise snack mix will have everyone digging into their bowls and howling with delight. It requires no cooking, baking, or anything – just add a few easy ingredients together, stir, and eat!
I made this for a Jungle Cruise get together, but it can work for a safari party, Wild One birthday, or any other animal party ideas. It was a lot of fun putting together, so get the little ones to help.

Jungle Cruise Movie Night Snack Mix
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I really love easy snack recipes. It’s not that I don’t like cooking or baking, but for a movie night or party, snacks are everyone’s favorites anyway. This simple snack mix can be customized for your likes and only takes a couple of minutes.
The best part is that you can make this ahead of time, store it in a sealed, zip top bag, and just put it out when you’re ready. I have to prepare for parties or family movie nights in advance by breaking down tasks, and things like this really help me reduce stress.

Tips for Making This Safari Party Idea Snack Mix
- Have the kids help make the mix! This is the perfect way to teach about measurements and to have them create a recipe from start to finish all on their own, building a bit of self-confidence in the kitchen.
- Mix and match the ingredients. You can add in other things or change out ingredients that people may not like. This snack mix is really versatile and can even be adjusted for dietary or allergy restrictions.
- Make sure to store this mix in an airtight container so it doesn’t go stale and leave it at room temperature. We made this earlier in the day for our Jungle Cruise family movie night, so it can be a “dump it all in and start snacking” treat, as well.

What Else Can Be Added to This Animal Snack Mix Recipe?
If you want to change up the mix, add anything that is animal shaped: candies, crackers, you name it. If it looks like an animal, add it in (that is my daughter’s contribution to this recipe).
