Cut 7, 16 inch strands of 3 mm macrame cord in any color for the hat. Small cinnamon sticks should use 5 strands. Cut an 8-10 inch cord to tie off the hat. If you want a long hanger, please cut a 24 inch cord for the center loop only.

Protect the surface, gather the natural cords together, and brush them out. Sometimes, it can help to unfurl the cord before brushing. Divide the cord into 3 sections and set aside.
Use the colored cord to create 7 lark’s head loops onto the cinnamon stick. Pull down the three center loops on the cinnamon stick and thread a natural cord bundle through each. There will be 2 loops unfilled on either side of the beard.

Identify the center most colored hat cord and tie it into a knot. Gather the bundle of colored hat cord and tie them together.

REMOVE the knotted hanging cord from the bunch and set it to the side. Unfurl and brush out the rest before trimming to size.
Glue on a nose at the base of the hat in the center of the beard. Trim the bear to the desired length.
