Tips to Make Easy Christmas Cupcakes
- Start with this easy Lazy Girl cupcake recipe. Its so simple and absolutely perfect every time! You could easily make these cupcakes with chocolate cake–I’ll be coming out with a recipe for that very soon that’s so ridiculously simple, you’ll love it. But you can even use cake mix–no one is judging!
- Don’t bother making your own black frosting–that’s too much work. Just grab a tube of that pre-made black gel writing icing. It’s easy and done for you, which is what this recipe is all about.
- Definitely find some super cute cupcake liners like these, because I think that brings together the whole look.
- You can use M&M candies or Skittles to make the lights on these cupcakes, but I used some big round ball sprinkles. I just liked the scale of the smaller balls.
- I also added a surprise inside these cupcakes of little star sprinkles (you can find them here). Seemed appropriate at the time. LOL!
- Be sure to let your cupcakes cool completely before you try to frost them, please. You don’t want the mess that comes with warm cupcake and frosting…ew.
