What Type of Doormat Do I Need?
This is a question I get a lot after one of my gnome doormats went viral and honestly, I like the cheap ones the best. A coir doormat – pick it up here on Amazon – is my favorite because it takes the designs well.
Some people make custom doormats using the dollar store style (a piece of carpet with a thin edge). If you’re making a quick project you don’t plan on using year after year, it is a decent option.
Halloween Welcome Doormat SVG with a Spider
This fun and festive doormat cut file set for Halloween features a fun web and cute spider. I used a large, bold font to make the ‘Welcome’ legible and easily transferred. This is one of my favorite of these free SVG cut files – I like simple.
Hey, Boo SVG for Halloween Doormat or Signs
If you like a more subtle design for the spookiest of holidays, this understated and adorable play on words makes for an easy afternoon craft. And the doormat SVG bundle for Halloween includes SVG, EPS, DXF, and PNG files (300 DPI, 12×12 inch).
Come In, My Pretties Witch Doormat SVG
If I had to choose a favorite, it might be this one. As I mentioned, I love simple (easy to transfer) accents like the bold witch hat paired with an easy-to-read (and easy to weed) font. It’s simple to create, even on a rough, coir door mat.
Halloween Boo, Y’all Doormat SVG
I couldn’t leave out a Y’all design, especially now that we live in Texas! This is an easy project to complete with a little Flex Seal or paint (with sealant) and will take you under an hour, start to finish.
Candy Corn SVG Doormat for Halloween
I love asking people whether they love candy corn or just love decorating with it. It’s a great conversation starter when you and all the other parents are waiting around for the kids to get their candy bags filled while trick or treating.
