Mixed Berry Dixie Cup Popsicles
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I love how the kiddo gets so focused on school, she uses all her energy to just pour herself into the experience, gathering all the bits of information she can. One thing that I don’t love is the hunger she has every day after school. Ravenous is the only word I can use to describe it.
So, I decided to make some fun after school snacks for her that are tasty, fun and perfect for little hands. First on the list were these fun mixed berry Dixie Cup popsicles.

Tips to Make 5-Minute Dixie Cup Popsicles
- You will need to start with some Dixie Cups like these here, if you don’t have some in the pantry right now (they might be hiding in the back – just move the canned goods out of the way). These little cups are so awesome for so many activities other than simply swishing mouthwash after you brush your teeth. You can use them as palettes for finger painting, stacking and balancing practice, and, of course, delicious popsicles for an afternoon snack. Specifically these 5-minute Dixie Cup popsicles. These cups can do it all.
- Next, you’ll need some popsicle sticks like these, to make the convenient handle for the mixed berry popsicles. You can absolutely use these little sticks for other things, too, but they were, first and foremost, intended to be a convenient stick to hold onto your popsicles. Let them do their job. It’s only right. LOL!
- Last thing, if you have already thought this through, you know that, the last step before you can really enjoy your mixed berry popsicles is taking the cup off. And, if you’re anything like me, you will, undoubtably have a little trouble. If the paper cups don’t simply slide off (mine did not) you can just dip the paper cup into a bowl of lukewarm water. Just a moment and the cup will slip right off your 5-minute Dixie Cup popsicles. Hooray!
