Tips to Make Make Christmas Cookies for Santa
- I feel like it needs to be said for whoever needs to hear it (which is probably me), but you need to take the cookies out of the oven BEFORE they start to brown on the edges. For these cookies, that’s going to turn them into a not-fun color. But also they won’t be as chewy. So, pull them out early.
- Use gel food coloring to get the colors as bright as possible without having to use a ton of coloring. I love it. Makes the colors so much more vivid and doesn’t ruin the dough. This is the set I like to use.
