Tips to Make Fun Mermaid Lollipops
- Mermaid lollipops are best enjoyed immediately (mostly because they taste amazing and are so fun). If you choose to store them, place them in an air-tight container.
- If you’re making these for a mermaid party favor, use a small cellophane bag to protect them.
- You can either cut your Jolly Ranchers or put them in a plastic baggie and crush them with a rolling pin.

Mermaid Tail Lollipops

These mermaid tail lollipops are a fun idea for a mermaid party or for a rainy day activity. They only take one ingredient and your Little Mermaid will love them!
Ingredients
- Silicone Mermaid Tail Mold
- 10 Jolly Ranchers (Assorted Flavors)
- Cake Pop (or Sucker) Sticks
- Parchment Paper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
- Cut or break jolly ranchers into pieces. Like I said earlier, you can use scissors or put them in a plastic baggie and crush them with a rolling pin, your choice, just keep the colors separate.
- Determine what colors you want your mermaid tail lollipops to be and ill each mold with pieces of the candy to correspond with your choices, making sure to fill the entire mold with jolly ranchers.
- Place the mold on a sheet pan and bake for 5-6 minutes or until all jolly ranchers pieces are melted.
- Remove from the oven and immediately place cake pop sticks on each tail. Since the sticks will be touching, place a strip of parchment paper over each row of sucker sticks.
- Cool on the counter for 10 minutes or place in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- Once cooled, remove each mermaid sucker from the mold.
