Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I have shared a lot of hot cocoa bombs and even have some of the most popular recipes on the Internet! Because they’re so easy to make (and gift), I thought I would create a few printable sheets of gift tags and instructional labels for everyone.

You will find examples of the four designs below. I made kid-friendly labels which have cute mugs with faces, chalkboard tags for the classic, clean look, and two that are just festive and fun. Download them below and I hope they inspire you to make this fun treat and share some warmth this winter.

Cup Shaped Hot Cocoa Bomb Labels

These printable tags can be cut as a square with the hole punch through the white part of the handle. I opted to cut the shape out by hand for mine but to minimize the work.

These free printable hot cocoa tags are definitely show stoppers in that they feature amazing artwork by leading watercolorists. I am not one of them as my watercolor skills are… lacking. But when I saw these, I had to pick them up for just this project and share them with you.

My daughter thinks these are the ‘happiest cups she’s ever seen.’ These designs feature fun snowmen, snowflakes, stockings, and candy canes on Kawaii-style mugs and cups.

Free Chalkboard Hot Chocolate Bomb Gift Tags

I opted to include the classic chalkboard style in my printable tag set because it is just so fun with the bright colors of holiday designs. Set your ink quality to good or best to get the full effect of the chalkboard. You need contrast to make them easy-to-read.

How to Download and Use These Free Hot Cocoa Bomb Tags

I have gathered these all in one downloadable PDF so you can pick and choose what style of hot chocolate bomb printable tag style you like best. Print one, two, or print them all for a lot of variety.

Each tag printable page will give the cocoa bomb instructions on where to punch a hole and string something through so that the design will show well. You can use anything you have on hand, but I recommend a thin, wrapped twine – there are some great colors.

I recommend to print these on white card stock because it’s just a little heavier than copy or printer paper. You can write the To/From sentiment on the back, leave blank, or add a festive sticker.
