Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I’m still in holiday crafting mode. The little one is out for school and she’s having a great time stringing dried orange and cinnamon garlands, blasting Christmas carols, and of course, preparing herself for the big day.

This week, I want to make a Christmas sign for our covered back deck near the pool. In Texas, we can actually sit outside comfortably this time of year, and adding a bit of holiday cheer back there next to our tree seems like a good idea.

I tried to capture a modern rustic style with this of holiday greenery designs. The berries are not round and the leaves are not perfect. The hand drawn style done in ProCreate, though not symmetrical, is still an easy weed project because the lines are clean.
