Tips to Make Patriotic Doughnuts

  • Let the kids get involved. They can not only help decorate, but they can also get involved with the baking. Most kiddos can measure, crack eggs, and stir.
  • No cookie icing? No big deal. You can make your own by mixing powdered sugar and a small amount of milk. Pop it in a zipper bag and trim off the tiniest bit of a corner to pipe.
