Gather SVG Set Free (with Commercial License)
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I’ve been working on my fall set up and that includes table scapes and wreaths. Because I had the ability with both a Cricut Maker and a laser on hand, I had no excuse not to make something myself.
And because I’m a bit indecisive sometimes, I couldn’t stop at just one style. So, I’ve made six different designs to inspire you to get creative.
If you love these free design files but can’t get started right now, save this to a crafty pin board or share it on Facebook. Either way, it will be easy to find when you’re ready to begin.

Ways to Use These Free SVG Designs
If you need a little inspiration, here are a few ways to use these free SVG designs for fall. It’s a great generic phrase all year round, so it also makes a great SVG for creating hostess gifts.
Laser Cut SVG for Name Plates or Place Settings
One of the easiest ways to elevate a table is to add a name plate or place word over the setting. These can be cut from heavy card stock, kraft paper, veneer, acrylic, or a thin wood. This craft is perfect for Cricut or other cutting machines and lasers.
Printed Fall Cards
The easiest way to use these gather cut file designs is just to print them out, fold them up, and write a personalized sentiment inside. Don’t you just love to watch someone’s face light up when you hand them a card? This project idea can be done without a cutting machine or laser!
Cricut Cut Fall Cards or Place Settings
If you have a cutting machine, you know how easily it is to whip up a few cards or place cards for friends and family. Use these free SVG files to create a layered card – be sure to use those 3D or foam stickers to really elevate the words off the paper.
Laser Engraved Coasters or Sublimation Coasters
A bundled set of coasters made from engraved felt or slate is a wonderful gift anytime of year. Use the free gather cut file designs to create a custom set for a friend, family member, or sell in a market.
Bouquet Charms
Add a little something extra to grocery store flowers with a DIY bouquet charm. Cut this from paper or wood or print it out to create a mini card – just attach either to a bamboo skewer and you’ve made your own flower charm.
If you’d like to see this come together using the xTool M1 Ultra, watch this quick DIY bouquet tutorial here.
Wreath Charms
If you have a cutting machine or a laser, you can cut veneer or wood to create your own wreath charm! Just glue (or staple) the cutout onto a fall wreath and you’ve created a custom piece of art.
Etched Gifts
I love, love, love this time of year because we’re all bringing food somewhere. Head on over to the thrift store, personalize a Pyrex with a little etching cream (use these designs as a stencil cut with a Silhouette, Cricut, or other cutting machine), and you have a great hostess gift.
When I was new, I followed this how to etch glass tutorial and it came out perfectly. I laser engraved a glass trivet from the dollar store and tucked it into a gift basket.
Wine Bottle Charm
Bring a bottle to dinner with a wine bottle charm they can hang or regift. It’s a nice way to dress up a boring wine bag or hand over an unwrapped bottle to highlight the label.
DIY Tissue Paper
Did you know you can print your own tissue paper?! I have done this and it’s perfect for adding to the top of a wine bag or tucked into a small gift basket as side accents. This DIY printed tissue paper tutorial taught me how to do it.
