Tips to Keep in Mind When Making This Holiday Gnome Candy Hugger
- You will need the free printable gnome candy hugger template here. It is an instant download and doesn’t require you to sign up for anything. :)
- Use regular copy paper in the printer, set the setting to 100% to scale, and print in black and white (so as to not waste ink).
- I used a series of holiday colors for a Christmas gnome candy holder, but you can use this for all seasons. Pastels would be great for spring, neon paper would be perfect for summer, and the natural tones would match fall.
- Use a glue stick and not liquid glue for this craft. It is less messy and honestly, it’s easier to actually get them all to stick together quickly to assemble the printable candy card.
- Ideas for what to use for the gnome nose: a pompom, a mini ornament, a small jingle bell, or even a small piece of round candy.
- To attach the candy, lollipop or money gift, use the glue stick a glue dot, a foam glue dot (to raise it up), or even string threaded through the body. There are tons of ways to attach a little gift to the gnome body.
