DIY Easter Bunny Gnome

Supplies Needed:

– Fleece Fabric, 2 colors – Mongolian Faux Fur – 12-Gauge Wire – Poly-Fill – Poly-Beads  – Wood Ball – Embroidery Thread – ModPodge – Pom Pom

Tools Needed:

– Hot Glue Gun & Glue – Scissors – Craft Knife – Sewing Machine or Needle and Thread – Funnel – Darning Needle – Pencil or Fabric Marker – Ruler – Pins

Print the template and cut out each shape needed, using two colors of fleece. Make the hat, arms, ears, and mittens according to the pattern.

Pin the body and sew closed, according to the pattern.  Make the feet and stuff with Poly-Fill. Attach the feet to the body.

Turn all pieces right-side out. Add Poly-Beads, Poly-Fill, and floral wire to the body. Use embroidery thread to create your bunny toes on both feet.

Cut your beard & attach the nose to the top of the beard.   Use embroidery thread and ModPodge to create your whiskers. Glue the whiskers to the beard, under the edge of the nose.

Cut slits in the hat where you want the ears to sit. glue the nose to the body.   Place and pin the hat. Secure the mittens onto the arms and pin arms in place.  

Tuck the ears into precut slits and glue to body.   Glue hat down onto the ears.  Glue arms to the body, then hat on the arms and body. Attach the pom pom onto your gnome bunny's bottom and enjoy!
