22 Vanilla Cupcakes Dinglehoppers Mermaid Sprinkle Mix Vanilla Frosting – Unsalted butter – Powdered sugar – Heavy whipping cream – Pure vanilla extract Fondant Ears and Bow – Purple fondant – Green fondant – Silver cake spray
Start by making our Lazy Girl Cupcakes. Make your fondant ears and bows. Allow to dry overnight. The next day, create the mermaid scale effect using cake spray and a stencil.
Make the cupcakes and allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting them. Make your frosting. Set 1 cup aside in a frosting bag. Add a dollop of frosting to each cupcake, smooth, and top with sprinkle mix.
Place a fair sized dollop of frosting into the center of the cupcake, using the reserved frosting and your favorite tip.
Place a purple bow on top. Place two mermaid "ears" on each side of the bow. Slip a mini fork in the front of the bow and enjoy!
