And a great time was had by all… But mostly a great time was had by the birthday girl.

Elise Danger is two!

Jeff and I toasted on her birthday to the fact that we’ve held up relatively well.

She is amazing. One day right after her birthday, she knew the alphabet. I don’t know when she learned it, but now she points to the letters in her books and names them, she asks Mommy to draw letters, and even wants to play with the foam letters so she can make ‘words.’

I wish I had taken a picture, but she busted out a word and was so proud of herself… It was S.H.I.Z.T. Of course, I read it as S.H.I.T.Z. and just laughed and laughed.

We had a small get together for her birthday and Elise had such a great time.

The look on her face is priceless! Oh no, it’s fire!

She was a very lucky girl to have such good friends and family wish her well and lavish her with gifts!

I talked to your Grandmother for her birthday today (12-30-29) and told her about this one – fire on the table, Mom! – … she said she was going to check it out!
