As you might have noticed or read in last week’s party intro, I have moved the blog. Although I will have to dedicate a post to the harrowing experience this has been, I want to ask for your help today. I knew I wanted to redesign my website and am just starting to think about colors. Red is my signature color (movie, anyone?), but it doesn’t translate well all the time on the web – it can come off as a bit too… Much. Kind of like my “in real life” level of sarcasm.
But it’s way too early in this post to go off on a tangent about my awesomeness, so… The next color I really like is sage green. I could do so much with that as a primary color because it is so prevalent in nature, isn’t too “girly” or “boyish,” and I knew there would be TONS of great color matches. I am finding that I would be a horrible floral designer because it seems I fall in love with too many different color palettes and can’t choose one. Or 5. Or 10. At the time of this writing, I have no less than 22 tabs open with my “favorite” color schemes for the website redesign. Yes, I’m going to admit that need help, so, I’m turning to you! Help. Help. Help. If there is a time in your life to be brutally honest, now is it! Which of these do you like? Which of these do you think captures the feel of Ruffles and Rain Boots? We’re quite ‘girly’ around here, but I don’t want everything pink.My poor husband would be my first unsubscribe after that change.
For those of you not familiar, I pulled all of these palettes from design-seeds.com. If you have other suggestions for sites you love who display inspired color palettes, leave them in the comments along with your vote. Help.

Hi Sarah – thanks to you and the ladies for hosting the party! It is so tough to make color choices and this is not a lot of help, because I like all of your selections. What do you think about just using 3 colors? Maybe that would help you to narrow down your favorites! I’m sure whatever you decide will look lovely. Have a great Friday and weekend!
