I’m the only person in my family, nuclear or extended, who can’t take a good photograph. My sister can get a wonderfully clear, perfectly positioned shot using her phone, one-handed, drinking a glass of wine, while riding a unicorn. I’m not exaggerating in the least… Join us for the link party (and my small pity party, not-so-quietly riding shotgun).
I’m not kidding when I say I’m going to be dead-to-rights honest with you all – it takes me about 100 shots to get one that is usable. This DSLR has only been off “P” mode – assisted auto – 5 times because I’m always taking shots while the little one is engaged with an activity or in bed. I have so many photography bloggers I
stalk follow, but it seems I’m not yet putting into practice their wise teachings.
So with that pity party announced, I’m asking you all – how do you take pictures? Do you just figure out the manual settings for every situation as easily as I tie my shoes? Do you have to work at it? Are you still on auto like me? If so, maybe we can start our own Facebook group: Bloggers Who Suck At Photography But Really Want to Be Better.
It’s a working title. On to the party – here are this week’s features!
