TGIT Link Party No 58

Big changes this week – join us for Thursday’s best link party where all links get Pinned!

Thank-Goodness-Its-Thursday-Link-Party

I’ve been working on the back end of the blog this week – have you seen the new homepage? Blogging is an amazing hobby that has really piqued my interest in coding for the web. Mostly my “interest is piqued” when I accidentally insert a / when I meant to insert a > and all hell breaks loose.

But since I don’t have a tech support person at my beck and call, I start cramming like a freshman in college on how to fix it before anyone sees it. And because bloggers are a friendly bunch of folk that will often give you help when you’re pulling your hair out, I’d like to say thank you, friends – thank you for being there for me even when I’m trying to right-align something that doesn’t have P tags (that one’s for you, Emily).

What about all of you other bloggers – do you have a go-to tech support person? If so, can I have their number? Just kidding – what do you do when you want to change, code, or even just right-align something? Let me know in the comments section!

Here are this week’s features!

Jordan’s pick:

Hearts Patterned Swiss-Roll Cake
Hearts Pattern Swiss Roll Cake from Winnie at Something Sweet Winnie’s Blog

Sarah’s Pick:

These Mini Raspberry Mousse Cakes are two layers of light, creamy raspberry and cream cheese mousse on a layer of red velvet cake. It’s delicious any time but it would make a Valentine’s Day dessert recipe.

Of course, Winnie! It's amazing to all of us what you can do with a little flour, some eggs, and your mad baking skills!

I go to my husband when I need tech-support! He has worked in the computer engineering and technology sector for years and knows coding in multiple (digital) languages, so he's always the one to turn to when things aren't going right. I'm slowly picking up on his little lessons, too!

Renee - you have quite the valuable resource there! I should take a course or something I know, but finding one is hard. Lucky you that you have in-house lessons! :)
