With or without the famous cookie, this Samoa cookie milkshake is a crowd pleaser! It’s ready in a couple of minutes and is a perfect way to end a Moana movie night (with or without the Samoa cookie popcorn).

Ingredients for a Samoa Cookie Milkshake

Only two things are required for a vanilla milkshake. But if you want to take a plain old vanilla milkshake to the next level, gather these ingredients WOW! everyone with the tastiest, prettiest Samoa cookie milkshake.

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream (we used French vanilla)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • whip cream
  • caramel sauce
  • dark chocolate sauce
  • toasted coconut flakes (DON’T skip the toasted coconut)
  • Samoa cookies (optional because who can hang onto them all year?!?!)

Note: if you’re unsure how to toast coconut, we did it on the stove in a saute pan in just a couple of minutes. It comes out a beautiful brown and the taste is amazing. Once you have toasted your flakes, chop it up into smaller pieces.

Samoa Cookie Milkshake Recipe

With or without the famous cookie, this Samoa cookie milkshake is a crowd pleaser! It’s ready in a couple of minutes and is a perfect way to end a Moana movie night (with or without the Samoa cookie popcorn).

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream (we used French vanilla)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • whip cream
  • caramel sauce
  • dark chocolate sauce
  • toasted coconut flakes (DON’T skip the toasted coconut)
  • Samoa cookies (optional because who can hang onto them all year?!?!)

Instructions

Line the rim of the glass in caramel sauce and dip it into the toasted coconut.

Add milk and vanilla (if using) in a blender. Drop in the tasty ice cream and spin. Spin some more until it’s creamy.

Drizzle a bit of the chocolate on the edge and inside the glass.

Pour in your milkshake.

Top with whip cream and drizzle with caramel and chocolate. Add on a bit of toasted coconut and serve immediately.
