Tips for Making These Fun Rustic Snowman Ornaments

Rustic Snowman Ornaments with Tumbling Tower Blocks
This easy Dollar Tree Christmas craft comes together in just minutes. Make these rustic snowman ornaments using the wood tumbling tower blocks and a few basic craft supplies.
Materials
- Tumbling Tower Block (1 per snowman)
- 6 inch length of ÂĽ inch red ribbon
- 5 inch length of twine
- 3.5 inch length of 2.5 inch wide burlap ribbon
- Small buttons (I used 1 red, 2 brown/tan)
Tools
- White Paint
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Black and orange markers
Instructions
- Paint the wood tumbling tower block white (front, back, sides, and bottom).
- Cut the burlap and, starting at the back with a dollop of glue, attach it to the unpainted end (top) of the wood block.
- Cut twine and tie it around the burlap about halfway up and cover the center with the small red button (or other decoration).
- Cut a portion of the red ribbon for a scarf and attach it with a dollop of glue in the back of the wood block about halfway down the remaining block.
- Add two buttons to the front and use the black marker to draw on eyes and a mouth and the orange marker to make a nose.
