That’s part of what inspires us to create new things–that and it’s just so fun to come up with super cool recipes like ham and cheese pinwheels.
And it was definitely fun making these amazingly tasty cheeseburger pinwheels. So fast and way more tasty than a plain-ole burger. Let’s get started.

- Step one in the making of these cheeseburger rolls is to definitely get the kids involved! They’ll eat more if they’re a part of making it, trust me.
- Don’t be afraid to customize it a little, if that’s what your kiddo wants. Follow their lead–putting them in control is never a bad idea in the kitchen.

Cheeseburger Pinwheel Rolls
Oh, these cheeseburger pinwheel rolls are so ridiculously good--I know why my kids keep asking for them for dinner. It's because I want them too, they're THAT GOOD. Don't believe me? Just try 'em.
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 2 packages refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 cups cheese
- 1 package bacon bits
- Onion Powder
- Pickles
- ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven as indicated on your pizza dough packaging.
- In a pan, brown the hamburger. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the excess grease. Allow to cool for a few minutes. You will want to keep it warm but not hot.
- On a sprayed cookie sheet, unroll a prepackaged pizza dough.
- Spread half of the hamburger meat over the pizza.
- Top with 1 cup cheese.
- Add bacon bits on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle with onion powder. (Or diced onion!)
- Starting from one end, roll the dough up with all of the meat and cheese inside. Pinch closed the sides.
- Repeat with the other package of dough.
- Brush the top of the dough with a bit of olive oil to help it crisp to a nice brown.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool. Cut into slices.
- Serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
