Elise LOVES Caspar Babypants! Mommy loves Caspar Babypants! Daddy loves – well, let’s not go that far…
At six months old, Elise started playing with her Seattle nanny, Kris, and the entire family was introduced to this awesome music. Caspar Babypants is a project of Chris Ballew, most notably from the rock band, The Presidents of the United States of America.
We have all of the CDs and they are in a constant rotation in the house and car. Now that I think about it, they have been ever since we got them more than a year ago.
The music is fun and doesn’t make a parent want to slit their wrists with a spoon. It is catchy and clean and gets the kids moving to help burn off some pre-nap energy. Chris had even said, “I kind of joke that I make parents music and that kids just happen to like it.”
We got to go to a free concert in Kent, WA today with a few friends of ours and it was great! Caspar played for an hour and had Ang, myself and the kids twirling, jumping, singing and smiling the entire time. It was just a great time for all of us.
Here are some pictures from today – not too many because we were very busy having fun!
Elise dancing and watching the big kids:
Elise is here dancing with a coloring book because hey, why not? I mean, sailboats and teddy bears like to cut a rug too!
The little boy (that you can’t see much of in the picture) is one of Kris’ and Ang’s twins, Simon.
Below is Sidney, Kris and Ang’s girl, sharing her snack with Elise. I don’t know why Danger was showing her belly – maybe she thought she’d get a bit of vitamin D absorbed through it?
