Adorable Chick Easter Egg Craft

Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I love a good Easter craft. And I can’t get enough of the ones that are just a bit different. This chick Easter egg craft nails it.

It’s a bit of color, with some fun texture, and an adorable outcome. We used plastic eggs which means you can keep these long after Easter is over.

How to Make This Fun Easter Egg Idea

Adorable Chick Easter Egg Craft

This adorable chick Easter egg craft is simple and easy to do!

Difficulty Easy

Materials

  • Plastic eggs
  • Craft feathers
  • Orange card stock or construction paper
  • Paint

Tools

  • Brushes to coordinate with the craft feathers
  • Fine point paint pen in black
  • Pencil
  • Glue gun and sticks
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Paint the eggs and allow to dry. Ours only took a few minutes but needed a second coat. brightly colored painted eggs
  2. Cut off pieces of the feathers and hot glue them on. We did one for each wing and a tiny tuft for the top of the head. painted eggs with feathers glue on
  3. Use a pencil to first make the eyes with eyelashes and go over with a fine point paint pen. You could also use googly eyes or draw on Kawaii eyes, but we liked this look with the closed eyes. draw on baby chick Easter egg eyes with paint pen
  4. Cut a small diamond from the orange card stock and glue it on in the center of the egg just below the eyes. Your adorable Easter chick eggs are done and ready to decorate for the holiday! colorful chick Easter eggs on white background
