Valentine’s Day Printables

Valentine’s Day Printables

Writing this, I’m looking at sunny skies. Not too impressive for most of the country, but people don’t usually mention sunshine and winter in Seattle in the same sentence. Because of our sunny weather, we’ve been outside a lot and my crafting has taken a back seat to soaking up some vitamin D. I have, however, been spending my nights working on some great Valentine’s Day printables to share with you all.

Printable Cards and Gifts from Ruffles and Rain Boots

If you’re a fan of coral and gold, I’ve got ya covered with some Valentine’s Day printables. If you like making little gifts for the kids each holiday (but don’t want to spend too much time or money doing so), I got you, too, girlfriend. If you believe French is the language of love – or not – yep, I gotcha mon ami.

Valentine’s Day Printable for Socks

I picked up a cute pair of monkey socks at the Dollar Spot at our Target store and thought it would be cute to make a little note tag for Elise. Right now, she likes saying each letter and their sound, so it will be a simple way to introduce more opportunities for her. The free download is available in a PNG format, so you can size it to whatever you need without losing quality.

Do you all like to set out little gifts or sentiments for your kids to find, too?

The Valentine’s Day printables below would all look great as cards (you can size the .PNG file to suit your needs) but also look amazing when printed and put in a frame. Here’s a tip for fancy-ing it up a bit: print it off in a smaller size and place a coordinating colored piece of card stock behind it. Voila – instant fancy factor!

French Valentine

This printable is great if you’d like to make a card for a good friend, sister, mother, or grandmother. It reads, “Happy Valentine’s Day” in French. Here’s a little fun fact: Joyeuse is actually the correct way to translate it, not Joyeux – that whole masculine versus feminine thing is pretty important in the language of love.

Tasty tidbit: when I was learning French for my old company (you guessed it, it was a French company), I remember incorrectly writing it during the course and had a little red-faced moment as I was used as an example. Joyeuse vs joyeux. Oh, the humanity! I might forget my own name, but I don’t think I’ll forget that embarrassing little slip-up. But you? You benefit from my mistake and red cheeks with this free printable.

If you like the print but are thinking, “Why would I need anything in the language of luuuuuvvv?? I speak the English…” here’s one for you.

Awesome Valentine

M’kay, so I’ll admit it: I might use the word awesome too much. Might. But if you, like me, think it’s the most awesome word, here’s a Valentine’s Day printable for you.

Infinite Friendship Valentine

I am so very lucky to have some amazing friends and I thought I’d make a card that was indicative of their lasting (and patient) friendship. Hopefully, they won’t read this until after they get this one in the mail.

  1. I love Seattle!!!!!!! I lived there for a few months when I graduated high school and I thought it was so dang beautiful and perfect! I thought it was going to rain everyday and it didnt, which led me to conclude that Seattle people pretend it’s more gloomy than it is so outsiders don’t come in and ruin it.

I love these printables! …and yes, big fan of gold over here ;]

    1. Haha, Rebecca! In summer and early fall, Seattle is amazing even if it rains, but in the winter – WHEW – it’s usually buckets for days at a time. We had a beautiful few days respite and we’re back to the rain, but I still love it. The rain washes away all the dirt off our big city – everything always looks clean and fresh. It might not be as bright as sunny Cali, but I’ll take it just the same. :)

  2. Such cute printables! Love the pink polka dots. Thanks for sharing this at What We Accomplished Wednesdays! Have a super week!
