Really! We are enjoying a sunny day! And it comes immediately after my post about the cruddy weather. Hmm…
Danger seems to be running everywhere these days. She often tumbles but, wow, she is fast. I suppose fast is relative, especially when speaking of a toddler. Here is an action shot because I haven’t learned how to upload video without having to go through YouTube.
We even watched a doodle bug (a.k.a. a potato bug) for a bit on our morning walk. Well, I watched it and Elise, um, “interacted” with it.
The photo below is just thrown in because it wasn’t too fuzzy! Most of the pictures I take are blurry because I’m trying to nail down an active kiddo who just doesn’t want to sit still!
Please forgive the outfit. With such swings in temperature, it’s kind of hard to layer a fussy toddler who only seems to wear shades of pink. :) Gotta love Baby Legs!
We spent the morning trying out our newest routine to follow along with her development: staying awake until after lunch. She was really fading at around 11:30, so Jeff, Elise and I hopped in the car to grab a bag of play sand from Home Depot. We will see if the sand and water table we got her was money well spent.
Lunch was a bit tricky to quietly navigate while Jeff was napping, but she managed to get a few bites in her with limited fussiness. We read a few books, nursed and then she PASSED OUT! Danger was out cold in record time and putting her in bed was like lifting a bag of sand. What a cute little bag of sand though, right?
With love and even some sunshine, I hope your day is bright.
